School and Community Workshops
We don't only do parties! We also do fun, creative and educational workshops.
Throughout the year we regularly work with schools, libraries, councils and community groups to provide jewellery making workshops. These workshops are tailor-made to suit your needs weather it be a themed session, fitting in with aspects of the curriculum or a fun after-school or holiday activity.
Jewellery workshops are a great way of engaging children and young people of all ages, girls and boys and we often work with under 5's, primary school aged, secondary school and teenagers. All of our workshop leaders are fully CRB checked and experienced in working with children and young people.
Some examples of sessions we have done before include:
- African Jewellery Making (for black history month)
- Recycled Jewellery Making
- Jewellery from around the world (A great way of introducing cultures from around the world including Africa, Asia, Europe and America)
- Egyptian Jewellery
- Enameling, metal work and resin (suitable for design technology)
